About Us

Webs Furniture Training has been delivering training since 1968 but recently has seen major changes which have brought it up to date. In November 2002 two new directors were appointed, both with a much younger outlook. As a result there has been considerable investment in improving the workshops and training facilities, along with taking on extra staff. All our apprentices are employed with local businesses from day one whilst attending our state-of-the-art training centre for off-the-job training one day a week.

What We Offer

We offer - Apprenticeships in the following areas at NVQ level 2 & 3

Upholstery
Wood machining
Cabinet making
Frame making
Polishing

All Apprentices are employed from day one and are funded by the Learning Skills Council (LSC)

Each apprentice is issued with terms and conditions of employment by their company

There is no charge to the Apprentice for the course and they earn a wage from their first day at work.

Webs can also offer training to meet the needs of employers / apprentices for example
