Outward Bound - Poem
Eskdale April 2007
Outward Bound the place we went
Walking up mountains, sleeping in a tent
Building rafts, getting wet
Running round the lake, getting in a sweat
Climb up the ladder, balancing on the pole
Working towards the ultimate goal
By the end of the day, everyone’s asleep
And all of the animals, even the sheep
Millions of years for the land to be made
Leaving wonderful memories, that will never fade
Birds in the morning, a beautiful sound
The time of our lives at Outward Bound
