In this edition we have explored the future of furniture manufacture in the UK.

 

 

 

WEBS are pleased to have been featured again in Big Furniture Group Magazine for their December edition.

The topic of British furniture manufacture is something that is very important to WEBS Training, as we are passionate about developing these skills and preserving them for future generations. 

But as we see consumers buying exported goods, whether this be a conscious choice or not, and more companies looking to source manufactured product from overseas, we must ask questions as to why, so we can look to improve things.

We must also review the attractiveness of the trade – if we want British manufacture to continue to be successful, we need to be attracting new generations into the trades and promoting it as a positive place for work.
