If you are ideally aged between 16-20, preferably with GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths, and have a passion and positive attitude to learning and developing your skills, then look no further as you are just the person we are looking for.

The qualification you will be working towards is a NVQ Diploma in Upholstery & Soft Furnishings (QCF), which includes a Diploma in Soft Furnishings (QCF), Level 1 Functional Skills in English and Maths and Employment Rights & Responsibilities Certificate.

We have opportunities in 2 of our 5 factories. One in Alfreton, Derbyshire, the other in Doncaster, South Yorkshire learning all aspects of upholstering furniture and other allied items. You will be checking your work against product specification sheets to ensure correct procedures are followed as well as operating tools and equipment needed to complete the job. Accuracy and safety are two key elements to the position. The role will involve working Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 2pm.

You will also take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award which will develop your personal skills in a wide range of areas.
