Workplace Learning

Most adults say that their workplace is the best place for them to learn as it is a familiar and comfortable place to them. They respond to opportunities to help them do their jobs better, whether that training is learned on the job or through formal courses. They are also more motivated workers if they feel that they are being invested in with learning opportunities or skills training.

The biggest cost to a business is usually staffing, making it important for business success to find ways of increasing competence. Adult learning is one of the tools that can be used to develop staff and maintain their effectiveness.

For some adults a full apprenticeship framework may not be appropriate so only the national vocational qualification may be delivered at level 2 or 3 along with the option of up-skilling in Maths and or English.

Webs can offer a range of courses accredited or non-accredited. All of our courses are delivered by highly experienced and knowledgeable staff.  Courses can range from NVQ training in one of our furniture manufacturing pathways to short courses in health and safety to specific training to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and the due diligence requirements of businesses e.g. wood machining and risk assessment.

Webs will always endeavour to assist to you gain access to funded training opportunities, but sometimes this is not possible due to eligibility conditions. If we cannot provide you with a funded alternative, then you can count upon us to quote a cost-effective and realistic commercial price for your training requirements.
