Upholstery Training Officer

Previous Experience: I have worked for a varied range of upholstery companies, from small independent businesses to large high production companies. I have gained knowledge on both traditional and modern upholstery techniques throughout this time.
Qualifications: I completed my apprenticeship with Webs Training achieving my City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Upholstery and Soft Furnishings. I am currently working towards my Teaching qualifications and Assessor units.
What made you join Webs? For my own professional development and to pass on my knowledge to others within the industry.
Personal interests: Classic and motorbike restoration.
Wood Machining Training Officer
Name: Rob Horton
Age: 31
Previous Experience: 12 years trade experience as a wood machinist / bench joiner, including 7 years as a business owner, managing and running my own workshop.
Qualifications: Bench Joinery NVQ Level 2 + 3 City & Guilds Advanced Craft Wood Machining
What made you join Webs? A general interest in providing good quality training to young people within the timber trades.
Personal interests: Any outdoor pursuits including, climbing and riding.
Wood Machining Training Officer
Name: Paul Cumberpatch
Age: 50
Previous Experience: I have worked for, Herrburger Brooks, Harlow Brothers, Barton Products, Trent Valley Windows and Meadowmead using a variety of wood working machinery to produce components to specification.
Qualifications: EMFEC Level 1,2,3 City & Guilds Advanced Craft. Tool room Technology Advanced Craft NVQ level 2 Wood Machining. I am currently working towards my Teaching qualifications and Assessor units.
What made you join Webs? A chance to help young people gain a trade and being able to pass on 30+ years of experience to help them achieve their goals.
Personal interests: Cycling both as a hobby and follow as a sport. Keen interest in most sports and youth football
Polishing Training Officer
Name: Paul Maskrey
Age: 26
Previous Experience: A spray polisher for the last 11 years working for a leading UK Kitchen Manufacturer producing high quality products for the furniture and timber industry.
Qualifications: I completed my apprenticeship with Webs Training achieving my City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Spray Finishing.
I am currently working towards my Teaching qualifications and Assessor units.
What made you join Webs? For my own professional development and to pass on my knowledge to others within the industry.
Personal interests: I attend the gym regularly to keep myself fit and healthy. I also attend car events with my own car.
