Webs recently received the ”OFSTED” call on the Friday and after the initial shock horror and calling round to inform everyone “next week, is the week”, we finally sat down as a team and had a coffee - for everyone involved in education, training, and development, the words Ofsted ring in your ears like …….
Luckily for Webs we have one hell of a team who pulled together supported and showcased what provision was on offer for the young people within the furniture Industry working towards recognised qualification with Webs Training, however, it wasn’t just #staffteamwebs that pulled together it was everyone – putting the learner at the heart of what we do and allowing them to say how they were finding their learning experience – that’s what nailed it! What you young people do is truly amazing and it was recognised through the grades we achieved meaning it most certainly is #teamwebs.
Our Ofsted inspection lasted 4 days and proved to be a successful and positive experience Webs would like to say a huge thank you to all learners past and present for sharing their experiences so openly and positively, Thank you to all our host employers who took the time to show the inspectors around your businesses and take time out of your busy days to speak with them so all in all A massive thank you to everyone that played a part, it was a stressful time but showcasing what we do best and how we do it positively lead us to achieving a “Good” Grade, Well done everyone… #goteamwebs!
I would like to say a special Thank You to all the ex-apprentices that came forward and were willing to speak to our inspection team, although not everyone was contacted knowing you were willing to be part of the inspection meant so much to so many people here at Webs and remember you're always welcome to pop in and come say Hi… even though to some this would literally mean travelling half way around the World! Thanks guys! You're all amazing and we continue to wish you every success with your futures!
