EMPLOYERS!!

Are your employees working to the current approved code of practice standards for wood machining?

Do you have a skills shortage?

Where can you get bespoke training and support?

NEW!!

Look No Further! We now offer Accredited Short Courses (Wood Machining)

Webs Training are now pleased to offer private accredited wood machining courses. We are working in partnership with the National Skills Academy for  Materials, Production & Supply.
These courses have been designed and developed to suit organizations needs and requirements to give assurance and piece of mind that the their employees are working to current legislation and are operating machinery in a safe but productive manner.

On successful completion of the course the candidate will receive a time bound competency card stating the individuals credentials inclusive of a current photograph.
This card will detail which course and machinery the candidate has demonstrated competency in. Where and when the relevant training was conducted and the assurance that it has been certified by both Webs Training and the National Skills Academy .

Did you know that the HSE advise that employees should receive adequate up-date training every 3 years ?

Training & Supervision
Poor supervision and inadequate training are two of the main causes of accidents. The law requires that all workers must receive adequate training, including refresher training. It also makes good business sense to make sure your employees are working efficiently and safely.

Training can be in-house, as long as you have competent staff to provide it. It can also be external or a combination of both. It must cover the type of machine and work the operator will be expected to do. This is important if the operator works on more than one machine
