Webs Training support the Callum Padgett appeal

BACK 14-06-2016

callams appealThis year we wanted to support a charity as part of our awards celebrations on 8 July.

This is Callums story

“My battle started Friday the 13th January 2012 when I was
diagnosed with neuroblastoma s4. I was 6 years old ....I've had chemo, radiotherapy, stem cell harvesting, hit remission summer 2013! Relapsed again Feb 2014....the last 4 years all I've known is hospital appointments, blood transfusions, platelets operations, hair loss sickness & diarrhoea, not being able to get out of bed most days.... What I would like is for more activities for my age group on the ward. There is a play room for the younger children and a teenager unit but nothing for my age group!"

Unfortunately Callum Padgett has now passed, he lost his battle on the 27th of March 2016 aged 10; the family would like to keep

Callum’s memory alive by continuing to raise funds in his name, in order to help other children in similar situations and make their time a little easier whilst staying on the oncology ward at the QMC.

If you want to support the Callum Padgett appeal and donate to families against Neuroblastoma, please speak to Lorraine Yellop-Witts who will be coming around with raffle tickets during the course of the awards evening on 8 July, alternatively call her on 01159 677771
